Datenschutzerklärung for deedmusic.com and shop.deedmusic.com
1. Controller
Deed Music Berlin, owner Iman Rajabi Tabar, Cantianstraße 7, 10437 Berlin, Germany. Email: booking@deedmusic.com. See also the Impressum.
2. Hosting and server logs
The Deed Store (shop.deedmusic.com) is hosted by Squarespace Ireland Ltd. and Squarespace Inc. The label site (deedmusic.com) is served through Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, these providers process technical data such as IP address, date and time, pages requested and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Data may be processed in the USA; both providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and use the EU standard contractual clauses.
3. Orders
When you order, we process your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number (if given) and order details to fulfil the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). To produce and ship your order, we pass your name, delivery address and order details to our print-on-demand production partner PODpartner and to the shipping carrier. Payment is handled by the provider you choose at checkout: Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. They receive the payment data needed for the transaction and may run fraud checks; we never receive full card details. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We keep order data for as long as commercial and tax law requires (up to 10 years, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
4. Contact
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it when it is no longer needed, unless we are legally required to keep it.
5. Cookies and consent
The Deed Store uses cookies that are necessary for the shop to work, such as the shopping cart and checkout (§ 25 (2) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Non-essential cookies, including Squarespace analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, are only set after you agree in the cookie banner (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings link in the banner or by clearing your browser cookies. The label site deedmusic.com sets no tracking cookies.
6. Meta Pixel
With your consent, the Deed Store uses the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. to measure the effect of our ads. Meta may transfer data to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Without your consent, the pixel is not loaded.
7. Embedded media and external links
The label site embeds a SoundCloud player (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Berlin). When the page with the player loads, SoundCloud receives your IP address and technical browser data (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our interest in presenting our music). The site also links to Spotify, Beatport, Instagram, X, Facebook, Skool and Calendly; these services only receive data when you click a link. Their own privacy policies apply. Fonts are served from our own servers.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
